When is the next Modern Warfare 2 double XP event?

Although the game has just started its first season, players are already on the hunt for information on the next Modern Warfare 2 double XP event. Typically, these events apply permanent boosts to various XP progression trees such as military level, weapon XP, and Operator XP.

When is the next Modern Warfare 2 double XP event?

Following the most recent double XP event that came to an end on March 20, players are already looking ahead to when the next chance to earn huge amounts of XP will take place.

The next double XP event will begin on April 20 which isn't that far away. Just like other events, PlayStation users will gain 24 hours of early access before PC and Xbox players can benefit from huge bonuses for a limited time.

• April 20: PlayStation exclusive double XP.
• April 21-24: Double XP, double weapon XP, double Battle Pass XP for all platforms.

Modern Warfare 2 double XP start time

Typically, double XP events begin in the early evening for UK players. With the launch of Modern Warfare 2, we expect the boosts to arrive at exactly the same time as previous titles. Here's a look at when we expect them to begin:

• 6PM GMT
• 8PM CEST
• 11AM PT
• 2PM ET
• 4AM AEST

Modern Warfare 2 Season One Reloaded start date

The mid-season update for Modern Warfare 2 goes live on December 14 which isn't far away. The mid-season update sees the arrival of the Chimera assault rifle and two new Operators to get your hands on.

Alongside the new items, there's a new raid to complete as well as the return of the legendary Shipment map.
