If you’re a big Star Wars fan, odds are you’re looking forward to the next entry in Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi series arriving later this month.

While the sequel to 2019’s Fallen Order will no doubt feature plenty of new mysteries and fresh mechanics, part of its appeal is grounded in the fact it’ll also contain a bunch of recognisable locations and characters from movies, shows and games also set in a galaxy far, far away.

Thanks to his previous adventure, Cal Kestis has already rubbed shoulders with a few of the most legendary figures the universe has to offer, and some fans have spent part of their weekend discussing who could be next on the poncho-loving Jedi’s celebrity meetup list.

Which famous figures from a galaxy far, far away do you hope to encounter in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

This sith-heavy speculation forms the subject of a recent thread on the subreddit r/FallenOrder, which was kicked off by a post from user AdmirableEquipment30.

They shared a clip of Darth Vader’s appearance at the conclusion of the first game in the series and asked: “Do you guys think we will meet Vader or any other legends in Jedi: Survivor?”

Many of their fellow Force-users didn’t think having the chargrilled version of Anakin Skywalker rock up again would be too good an idea, with user Significant_Salt56 pointing out that Vader is supposed be busy hunting down Obi-Wan Kenobi at the time Survivor is set and adding: “Plus, Cal getting lucky twice and not being murdered by Vader would feel weird to me.”

Others provided a massive array of other characters from the litany of existing Star Wars shows and movies that they’d prefer to interact with, including Phantom Menace antagonist Darth Maul, whom zachmma99 declared: “would be interesting because we know he’s (still) heading up Crimson Dawn (in) 10 BBY & Survivor takes place in 9 BBY, but I don’t think Cal can keep up with Maul, Cal just doesn’t have the power/confidence.”

On the other hand, user AaravR22 went for an ally, suggesting: “I’d love to see Quinlan Vos. He’s confirmed to be alive (at the time of Survivor), but his whereabouts are unknown. He and Cal are similar in that they both possess psychometry.”

Meanwhile, user SundryNow opted for another Star Wars protagonist from the world of games, saying: “I hope to see younger Vader's Secret Apprentice, a.k.a Starkiller (from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed) as a final surprise (at the end of Survivor).”

Meanwhile, user East-Specialist-4847 mused: “I want Jar Jar Binks to make an appearance as a love interest,” but refused to elaborate any further.
