What Is FreeSync?
FreeSync, also known as AMD FreeSync is a type of VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) that helps to reduce screen tearing a latency.
FreeSync achieves this by matching the refresh rate of the monitor or TV to the frame rate which is sent out from the console or PC.
Some games are more demanding on the PS5 and so the frame rate signal it sends out can vary depending on the complexity of the task.
