PS Plus Latest News

1st December 2021 -

Hours before the official reveal, PlayStation Germany has accidentally uploaded the PS Plus monthly video early. While they've taken it down, that's since been shared elsewhere, confirming that the previous leak with Godfall (PS5, PS4), Mortal Shell (PS4) and LEGO DC Super-Villains (PS4) is true.

26th November 2021 -

Ever the reliable leakers, Dealabs has once again "confirmed" December's PS Plus lineup and given their previously reliable track record, we'd expect this to be accurate. Players can expect:

  • Godfall (PS5, PS4)
  • Mortal Shell (PS4)
  • LEGO DC Super-Villains (PS4)

23rd November 2021 -

While we've not seen many rumours for December's line-up, one game people have looked to is 2pt Interactive's Heavenly Bodies. Launching on December 7th, that'd drop at the same time as December's PS Plus games do, leading to speculation. Hopefully we'll learn more soon.

19th November 2021 -

28 October 2021 -

As part of Sony Interactive Entertainment's Q2 FY21 earnings call, they confirmed that PS Plus subscribers hit 47.2 million worldwide, having previously dropped to 46.3 million in Q1. They also revealed that PS5 has now hit 13.4 million sales, which you can see below:

When Will PS Plus December 2021 Games Get Announced?

Traditionally PS Plus games have always been announced on the last Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. on the dot on the PlayStation Blog.

That means we would've expected December PS Plus titles to be revealed on November 24th, 2021. However, if there's a larger gap, sometimes Sony will delay this by a week and that's occurred this month. So, we'd expect confirmation on December 1st, 2021.

Of course, there's always the chance we see some early leaks for some games, so we'll be sure to keep you up to date on any further info in the latest news section above.

When Will PS Plus December 2021 Games Come Out?

PS Plus games are made available to players like clockwork at the same time every month, with only one or two very rare changes to the schedule. Generally speaking, new games are made available to download from the PSN store every first Tuesday of the month.

As such, the December 2021 PS Plus line-up will be available to download on the PlayStation store on Tuesday 7th December, 2021.

What Games Are Free With PS Plus Right Now?

In case you've forgotten, right now you can download the following free games with your PS Plus Subscription:

  • Godfall (PS5, PS4)
  • Mortal Shell (PS4)
  • LEGO DC Super-Villains (PS4)
  • The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners (PSVR)

All six games will be available until January 3rd.
