November 10, 2022: With the final weeks of Warzone underway, we've adjusted our list to showcase the best Warzone sniper rifle to use.

Due to the immense power and versatility of the Kar98k Marksman rifle, Sniper rifles in Call of Duty Warzone rarely feature in the metagame thanks to their lack of mobility. Despite this, they're still strong choices if you're looking for a gun to dominate in long-distance duels.

With a total of 13 snipers to choose from and with Season 5 underway, players are on the hunt for the best Warzone sniper rifle to use

The Season 3 update introduced widespread changes to a number of popular snipers, resulting in a significant shift in the long-range metagame. As Raven Software continues to adjust the best Warzone guns, we're still looking for the very best Warzone sniper to use. After some testing, check out which is the best sniper to use in Season 5 below!

What is the best Warzone sniper?

S Tier AX-50, HDR, ZRG 20mm, 3-Line Rifle, Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle

As the Season 5 meta continues to evolve, there are numerous snipers that make an impact.

The HDR and AX-50 from Modern Warfare continue to prove popular while the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle is also making an impact in those competitive long-distance duels.

Warzone sniper rifle tier list

While this list does showcase the best and worst snipers Warzone has to offer, it doesn't rank the very best weapons in the arsenal which is where the best Warzone guns come into play. Here's a closer look at the snipers!

S-Tier

These snipers now dominate the long-range meta thanks to the changes made by Raven Software. Armed with huge damage output and the ability to eliminate a target with a single bullet to the head, these are the very best rifles to use if you're looking to pick people off from a distance.

A-Tier

This set of snipers are still strong choices but nerfs to their damage puts them slightly below the highest tier. If you're after an alternative to the snipers dominating the meta, the likes of the Pelington 703 and the Vanguard Kar98k offer more of a challenge during a match.

B-Tier

Some of these rifles once crept into the meta before being replaced with more viable alternatives higher up the list. The semi-automatic nature of the M82 does make it a useful companion to use against any oncoming vehicles but against the opposition, the high recoil makes it very hard to control.

The newest addition of the Type 99 does pack a punch but with slow aim-down sight speed and lack of mobility, it's good in long-range gunfights but falls short where quick reactions make the difference.

C-Tier

Despite being one of the more mobile snipers, the Dragunov is the worst sniper to use in Warzone by some distance. With so many superior options available, we recommend staying well away from this sniper if you want any chance of grabbing a ride on the victory helicopter.
