Star Wars Jedi Survivor is the sequel to 2019's Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, and continues the adventure of young Jedi master Cal Kestis. While the new game will feature some of the same mechanics as its predecessor, one question you'll have is how to save in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

The save system in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was a bit more conplicated than some players liked, since it was much different to any previous Star Wars game. This guide will let player know if saving in Star Wars Jedi Survivor is the same or if there are any changes.

Thankfully, the saving mechanic has not been changed from Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Those who have played the previous game should feel right at home with how it works.

For those who are unaware, however, Star Wars Jedi Survivor features a save system similar to From Software games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring. While there is an autosave function to automatically save the game, it is infrequent and limited enough that it can not be relied on.

Saving the game requires the player to visit Meditation Circles, which are placed about at key points in the environment. These circles are marked by a faint blue light shooting from the ground from afar, and are decorated with symbols once up close.

Accessing the Meditation Circles are key to manually saving the game, as you will reappear at the last circle visited after dying. The circles also serve other functions such as healing, permanently upgrading your character, and fast travel.

Though it is important to note that visiting the Meditation Circles will also respawn almost all enemies that were defeated in the level. So it is best to visit these circles as long as you do not need to backtrack, or else it will get a lot more tedious.
