Psychonauts 2: How to Get the Luxurious Egg

While exploring the Grulovia exhibit in Psychonauts 2 you will be tasked with finding a Luxurious Egg to place on a nearby podium. You won't be able to leave the area until you do, and you'll only have a small clue to go on. It's in the ocean somewhere, so head back to the diorama. Here's what to do once you're there, to get your hands on a Luxurious Egg.

Psychonauts 2: How to Get the Luxurious Egg

To get a Luxurious Egg in the Fatherland Follies area of Psychonauts 2 you will need to follow the clue given to you. "The largest eggs are found in the ocean" - this is referring to the diorama that you passed earlier. Head there and interact with the nearby console.

You will need to do the following to get up to the gap in the diorama:

  • Select 'Adrift at Sea'
  • Remove Trees
  • Add Fish
  • Add Cacti
  • Move family to centre

Once you have done this you will be able to use the platforms at the back of the cardboard props to jump into the hole. Use your wall jump to make this easier, and make sure to use the levitation ability to steady yourself if you're having trouble.

Head inside the room, which happens to be a recreation of the Casino hotel room you visited at the start of the game. Speak to Gristol Malik to get the Luxurious Egg. You will need to jump on top of it and lead it back to the podium where you first spoke to the attendant. You can now move onto a new area.
