Psychonauts 2: Die-Brarian Boss Walkthrough

Psychonauts 2 features a level set in a library, culminating in a boss fight with the librarian running it. It's a tough fight at first, as she is blocked by enabler enemies and can be impossible to damage. That's why we've put together this guide on beating the Die-Brarian boss in Psychonauts 2. Psychonauts 2: Die-Brarian Boss Walkthrough

The first thing you'll notice about the Die-Brarian is that she has an enabler enemy protecting her. Use your Pyro ability on it to break the links. You can then take care of the Die-Brarian. She will shoot flaming letters at you which can be easily avoided by using the levitation ball. Keep hammering her with Psi-blast whenever she is unshielded to slowly chip additional health away from her.

After a while, the Die-Brarian will start to shush you and blow wind across the area. Just dodge into the wind continuously until it clears. Cassie will throw an item into the arena, use telekinesis to pick it up and throw it.

At this point, the boss will slam her head onto the arena, giving you a window of opportunity to use the Projection skill you learned earlier. Send your Archetype into the bars and you will trigger the next phase of the fight.

More enemies will spawn here, so take care of any enablers first using Pyro as we detailed above. Take out the remaining enemies and watch for falling books. We found that staying on the levitation ball and continuously firing with Psi-blast was a good tactic here. She'll repeat her attacks, opening up more opportunities to use Projection. You will need to do this three times to beat her.
