How to Get AI To Heal in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

Given you're only able to control four out of a possible eight characters in larger battles, there will come a time where you or an ally need a heal and you can't just switch to another character to do it yourself.

If you're out of vulneraries, Nosferatu casts, and can't find any potions in the destructible pots around the map, you only really have one solution: to have an AI character heal you instead.

Rather than wait and hope that they notice you're about to collapse, you can issue a heal command right from the map screen. To do so, open up the map using +. Find a character that has the Heal skill equipped (generally someone on the Monk class tree) and click on them with A.

With that done, move over to the character you want to heal on the map and press ZR to open up the tactical command window. If they have the Heal skill equipped (or something similar like Physic), you should see the option to use it here.

Issue the command, head back into the battle, and the character should then eventually make their way over to the hurting officer and send some support their way.

You'll need to repeat these steps a couple of times if you need a bigger dose of HP or a top-up from time to time. If you'd rather have them cast it as when it's needed, you'll want to go through that process and set the healer to defend the chosen character as well. This should keep them generally at their side and ready to pitch in as necessary.

With that, you should be fighting fit again. We'll have more on Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes around launch. For now, maybe read up on why Ninja and MrBeast are turning heads with a tournament.
