Breath of the Wild Glitch Makes Calamity Ganon Disappear From The Game

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has numerous evil bosses, but nothing trumps Calamity Ganon. While his presence is felt across the game, you don't directly encounter him until the final battle for Hyrule.

But, as silly as it may sound, this final boss recently went missing, thanks to an unexpected glitch that was experienced by u/Chicken_Vomit_ on Reddit.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 In Nintendo Direct?

As seen in the video, this user approached the battle only to find out that Calamity Ganon is missing. Gamerant suggests this glitch is called the Bow Lift Smuggling, which gives Link the ability to speedrun and travel long distances at the speed of light. As such, Ganon may have disappeared as an unintended side effect.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available for Nintendo Switch and Wii U. An upcoming sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is currently in the works - with a possible new reveal for the game coming in today's Nintendo Direct event.
