Following its release last month, Alan Wake Remastered has proven successful for Remedy Entertainment. According to Remedy's latest business review, CEO Tero Virtala confirmed that Remastered's positive sales will help springboard the company into its other projects.
Detailing their results for Q3 2021, Virtala confirmed that:
The launch marks a special moment for us and Alan Wake fans around the world. After the reporting period, we have seen that the game has been received positively by critics and players alike and sales have started well. Another key milestone was the entry of the bigger Epic Games Publishing project into full production in August.

Remedy Confirm Alan Wake Remastered Sales "Started Well", Could Fund Future Projects
Prior to this report, Remedy Entertainment noted that the company's earnings have been in decline before Alan Wake Remastered released. Virtala notes that royalties earned from Control has decreased at this time, but confirms Control is still selling well two years after its release.
After Control's success, Remedy Entertainment's next projects are in full swing, including a multiplayer spin-off for Control. An Alan Wake sequel is also rumoured. Right now though, Alan Wake Remastered is available on the PC through the Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
