Link is ready to fight an unknown creature in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

If you want to use your bow effectively, you will need to learn all elemental arrow combinations in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. These can be obtained with the help of the new Fuse feature, which is the biggest change this time around.

The Fuse feature looks like a great addition to the new Zelda game as it allows you to utilise various ingredients you get from monsters. The arrows you can make that way have different effects, so we will tell you about them in this guide.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, we know only a few crafting combinations for arrows. However, we will likely see more of them in the game. So, this article will be updated with new arrow types as soon as we get any information about them.

Name Fuse Combination Effect
Freeze ArrowWhite Chuchu Jelly + ArrowCreates an ice explosion that freezes your enemies.
Homing ArrowKeese Eyeball + ArrowThe arrow follows enemies even if you miss.
Leaf ArrowKorok Frond + ArrowUnknown

As you can see, there are not too many types of arrows, but all of them are quite useful. The Freeze Arrow will work great at the beginning of a battle, when you need to get rid of the most dangerous enemies. The Homing Arrow will help you hunt various animals or birds that move too fast.

Also, we assume that players will be able to craft various elemental arrows with Chuchu Jelly. However, only the Freeze Arrow was shown in the trailer, and all of these jelly arrow variations have yet to be confirmed. Finally, we may get an opportunity to fuse arrows and bombs to get the good old Bomb Arrows that have served us so well in previous Zelda games.

Overall, this new mechanic looks great and has the potential to make gameplay more diverse. Hopefully, we will get an opportunity to craft all the previous types of arrows and a couple of new ones!
