March 29, 2022: Viv Vision enters our MCOC tier list.

Looking for a MCOC tier list? Fighting games on mobile can be fairly hit-and-miss, but this superhero brawlathon is a treat to look at, letting you take familiar faces from the Marvel cinematic universe and get other characters to punch them really hard. You can collect all sorts of heroes and villains along the way, making the roster pretty sizeable.

Who's the best fighter of the bunch? These things are always subjective, but our Marvel Contest of Champions tier list should hopefully give you an idea of who's worth investing in and chucking into the ring. We've also included some info about how to get more characters, and whether you can reroll. Spoiler: the answer is not really, but you can get yourself a free premium character crystal if you follow the instructions down below.

If you're hankering for some more hero-based mobile game guides, we have Marvel Future Revolution builds for Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man, as well as an in-depth tier list. That said, let's get down to our MCOC tier list.

How do I get more MCOC characters?

As with many other character collection games, MCOC lets you earn more fighters through spending crystals. Cracking open these beauties will net you characters of different rarities. However, if you want higher-rarity heroes, you'll have to use units, the paid currency, to purchase them. Here's what they cost:

  • Peter Parker's Wallet, 135 units - £4.99
  • Star-Lord's Loot Bag, 275 units - £9.99
  • Tony Stark's Briefcase, 850 units - £28.99
  • Black Panther's Treasure, 1,450 units - £48.99
  • All-Father Odin's Vault, 3,100 units - £99.99

You can also earn units from playing the game and completing arenas, which is the best way if you don't want to spend any cash in-game.

Can you reroll in Marvel Contest of Champions?

Since you don't get ten free pulls in Marvel Contest of Champions, it's not really possible to reroll properly. You do, however, get a free premium crystal when you sign in with a Kabam account. Here's how you do that:

  • Open Marvel Contest of Champions
  • Complete the tutorial
  • Tap on the settings cog in the top-left corner of the main menu
  • This will give you a prompt to log in and claim a premium hero shard
  • Create a Kabam account
  • Open your premium crystal

If you don't like the character you get, you could always go to your app settings and clear the data for Marvel Contest of Champions. This could let you start again and create a Kabam account with another email address, but it's not confirmed whether that will work. You're probably better off just taking that first premium crystal as a starting bonus.

And that's our MCOC tier list. For even more Marvel content, we also have a Marvel Future Revolution companions list and a Marvel Future Revolution codes list with the newest in-game freebies.
